Performance & incentives

Targets, points and incentives your sales force can see and trust

Every person has a monthly target, earns points automatically as applications move stage, and sees what those points are worth under your incentive plan. Agents see their own figures; managers see their line.

Targets

Targets that are fair to set and easy to follow

Each person has a monthly target by product, in amounts, cards and points. Pace is measured on working days, so expected by today, the daily run-rate and the month-end forecast mean the same thing for everyone.

  • Targets for personal finance (new and top-up), credit cards and auto lease, plus one points target per person
  • Expected by today, daily run-rate and month-end forecast on every dashboard, against last month to the same day
  • Working days leave out weekends and your bank holidays, so pace reflects the days people can actually sell
  • Calls made after midnight, as on Ramadan evenings, count for the day before, so telesales quotas and pace stay fair

Setting the month

  1. 01

    An assistant for every leader

Team leaders, sales managers and regional managers split the month for their direct reports: the same for everyone, by recent performance, or copied from last month.

  2. 02

    Fair to joiners and leavers

New joiners and people on notice get a smaller share, whichever way the month is split. A product nobody in that role sells is left at zero.

  3. 03

    Checks before saving

A person with no target, a big jump on last month, one person carrying too much of the team, or a team total that does not cover the leader's own target is flagged as the figures are typed.

  4. 04

    Applications needed

Each target is turned into the applications the person needs to submit, from their own booking rate, and set against what they submit today.

  5. 05

    A plan for the year

The head of sales spreads the yearly target over the months, evenly or by working days, and sees the pace needed for the rest of the year.

  6. 06

Locked once the month is under way

After the first days of the month only the head of sales can change it. Closed months are read-only, and every change is logged with the old and new figures.

The points engine

Points that add up by themselves

When an application moves stage, Assenta records the event and awards the points in the background, by the rules you set. Nobody keys points in, and nobody waits at a screen while they are worked out.

01

What earns points

  • Application submitted
  • Documents collected
  • Finance booked or card issued
  • Document pickups, for document collectors
  • Follow-up work, for follow-up staff
  • Bonus points from campaigns

02

Your rules

  • Points by product, stage and role
  • Salary transfer and rate band taken into account
  • Top-up earns on the net cash only
  • The better rate applies while a campaign runs
  • Everyone on the application earns, from the agent to the head of sales
  • Each person earns once per application and stage

03

What people see

  • A points statement: every point, with its application, stage, rule and campaign
  • Achievement against target, refreshed as the points land
  • A points ledger of the people in their line, for leaders
  • Tiers, badges and campaign rewards worked out from the same points

Stages come from your loan system, so points follow what really happened to each application.

A clean month-end close

The head of sales closes the sales month from one page, after a preview of what will happen. The close either completes in full or changes nothing.

  1. 1Points still waiting are processed first, so every point is in
  2. 2Final achievement is worked out and achievement-campaign rewards are awarded
  3. 3Targets carry over to anyone without one for the new month, with an optional increase
  4. 4The month goes to history, and the new month opens

Points value and incentive plans

What every point is worth, under your plan

Your incentive plan is set up once for each job family. Each person then sees what their points are worth this month, worked out by the same plan.

  • A gate: the achievement needed before any incentive is paid
  • A value per point for each achievement tier
  • Paid on the tier reached, progressively, or as a fixed amount per point
  • A cap and a validity period for each plan
  • Plans of their own for document collectors and follow-up staff

Private to the person

The money value of points is shown to the person on their own Points Value page, and to their managers on their profile. It never appears on dashboards or league tables.

What-if calculator

Turns points into money and back, with the tier gate applied, so an agent can see what reaching the next tier would mean.

From points to pay

  1. PointsEarned automatically from application stages and campaigns.
  2. ValueWorked out under your plan, with the tier gate applied.
  3. Incentive historyIncentives and cash rewards recorded for each person, ready for payroll.
  4. Agency payrollPaid as a line in each person's payroll and checked against what was already paid, so nothing is paid twice or missed.

Agents see their points, and what those points are worth under your incentive plan, on their own screen at any time.

Campaigns and rewards

Campaigns with clear rules, and rewards that reach payroll

The head of sales runs incentive campaigns for a set period. Each one has its rules written down, its progress on every agent's screen, and its rewards tracked until they are paid.

Rate campaigns

A points multiplier for a product or card type between two dates. Applications in the window earn at the better rate.

Achievement campaigns

Bonus points, vouchers or cash for reaching a share of target, a number of cards or an amount booked. A campaign can count the main product only or require a minimum target, and you choose whether a reward is kept or reversed.

Rewards

Issue a voucher code, or settle cash to the incentive history for payroll. Rewards can be redeemed or cancelled, and cancelling reverses the bonus points.

Tested before launch

A back-test runs an achievement rule on the last three months, with an optional opinion from Assenta AI, before any agent sees the campaign.

Where people see it

  • Agents and managers see a progress bar to each reward, and the rewards they have earned with their voucher codes
  • A near-miss nudge tells an agent how little is left for the next reward
  • Managers see how many of their team are close, and send a nudge in one click
  • The head of sales sees every campaign running this month

Campaign payback

Cost and efficiency reports set incentives and campaign costs against the value booked, so sales managers and the head of sales can see which incentive campaigns paid back.

Recognition

Tiers, badges and league tables that keep the month competitive

Recognition is worked out from the same points and targets as incentives, so an agent's rank and their points statement never disagree.

  • Four tiers, from bronze to platinum, by share of target points, with the medal on the agent's screen and on the leaderboard
  • Streaks, achievements, Rising Star and badges, refreshed several times a day
  • Leaderboards on the dashboards: top sales agents, top team leaders, top sales managers, and the agents who need coaching
  • League tables for teams, agents, sales managers and regions, by bookings, amount, cards, applications, achievement, approval rate or lead-to-booking, with the move since last month
  • An agent sees their own team's league table, with their row highlighted
  • When an agent or a team reaches target, Assenta AI drafts the congratulations, and the manager approves it before it goes out

Who sees what

Everyone sees their own numbers. Managers see their line.

Access follows the reporting line in every list, report, search and Assenta AI answer, so each person sees exactly their part of the bank.

Staying on pace

Alerts that arrive while the month can still be won

Assenta does not wait for the month-end report. It tells each person what changed, what is behind, and why.

Explain this number

Tap a dashboard tile to see how the figure is worked out, how it compares with last month, a usual month and expected by today, what drives it one level down, and what to do next.

Watchlist and bell

Agents and managers star the leads and applications they care about, and managers also watch large or late applications automatically. Important changes arrive at once, the rest in a digest.

Flash alerts

Team leaders and managers post announcements, motivation, campaigns and process changes to their own line, in English and Arabic. Readers can be asked to confirm, and a tracker shows who has not seen it.

Weekly coaching list

Each week a team leader sees the agents below expected pace, compared with the best performers on contacts per day, time to first contact, overdue follow-ups and conversion.

Month-end gap plan

When a team's forecast is below target, Assenta AI drafts a plan: eligible leads to push, the largest applications close to booking, and the agents furthest behind. The team leader approves, and the tasks go out.

Morning briefing

Each morning, managers read the last working day's applications and bookings, the month per product with its forecast, and the most urgent risk.

What this means for the bank

A sales force that knows where it stands, every day

Incentives people trust

Agents see the same points and value that payroll uses, during the month and not after it.

Fewer disputes at payout

Points come from application stages and written rules instead of spreadsheets, so every figure can be traced to its source.

Problems seen in time

Managers see who is behind expected pace while there are still working days left to act.

Targets that feel fair

Working days, holidays, new joiners and people on notice are all counted when targets are split and paced.
